The WANSecurer Appliance is a Virtualized Platform created using the prefect (leading) set of tools to provide any Ethernet based IP network with the level of security that’s unrivalled. Using Citrix XenServer and the Open Source community each WANSecurer Appliance is a custom configuration tailored to the network it protects. There are at least two servers working in tandem to ensure that not only is the private network protected from the Public/unsecured network it’s attached to, but also protect the private network from intrusion, and internal vulnerabilities/attacks.
We do know that if a user’s machine is compromised that it’s used as a means of attacking other users on the connected network and if possible launched attacks to other networks, especially by use of the Internet. The WANSecurer Appliance is built to intercept these attacks wherever they originate. It’s packed with tools to both determine the nature, origin, and targets of any communications through the device services. It also fully supports both IPv4 and IPv6 communication stacks, and provides the necessary protection on both IP protocols.
In Times gone by most systems administrators would say the less tools or features you have on the firewall the more secure it is. Click IT Solutions say this is far from true in today’s world.
