Ghost SSL/TLS and Email Server is a virtualized Software as a Service platform running Linux/FreeBSD to provide a cloud based end point for a secure tunnel into the Interent Cloud running on our Partner's datacenter in the United States of America.
Three datacenters host the cloud computing infrastructure enabling agility, redundancy, and mission critical services with disaster recovery and high availability. Connected to the backbone of the US internet infrastructure at multiple points ensures our service is fast and easily accessible to you.
What does this Ghost SSL/TLS and Email Server offers?
Each Ghost server is customized to fit each customer unique network and firewall ruleset. Through IP Obscurity it is able to be available behind NAT firewalls and provide for load balancing of links using multiple providers. It allows for your servers in-house to appear as though they are hosted in the cloud. Through highly encrypted TLS tunnels your servers access each Ghost with IP/NAT translations to ensure your local services are securely available online, especially if you have dynamic IP assignment on your Interent connections.
In our Business Email Service it provides the other end of the connection for (backbone speed Cloud to Cloud link with Symantec MessageLabs 14 worldwide datacenters) with secure IP translated conection back to your in-house servers.
It Compresses the flow of IP traffic back and forth between your network servers and the Ghost Cloud Server, permitting greater bandwidth availability towards other Internet applications, such as web browsing.
Because it encrypts the data traffic between your network and the Ghost Server and locks itself to only communicate with other end point by IP addresses, you can control access rights to your network easily, without exposing your services or issuing your public Internet Connection IP address(es).
